UMBC's Bachelor of Arts in History program at The Universities at Shady Grove offers students an opportunity to develop analytical and communication skills and serves to broaden perspectives on the past. With an emphasis on public history, policy history and international historical perspectives, the program is designed to encourage the development of good writing and research skills in conjunction with innovative and critical thinking.
