The University of Baltimore offers the Master of Public Administration (M.P.A.) at the Universities at Shady Grove in a convenient, weekend format. Our M.P.A. program led the UB's College of Public Affairs to be ranked 68th nationally in U.S. News & World Report's 2016 edition of "Best Grad Schools."

Public administrators in government and nonprofit organizations must keep reinventing themselves to meet the new challenges of a changing society; our two-year, 42-credit Master of Public Administration program trains you to do just that.

The curriculum includes courses in public organization theory, legal and ethical environments, statistical applications, information resource management and analytical techniques.

WHY STUDY PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION?

WHAT IS THE WEEKEND FORMAT?

You can complete the program in a combination of weekend courses and online courses. The onsite courses at USG are offered on six selected weekends (Saturdays or Sundays) within a 15-week semester.
