  • Honor Societies and Leadership Development Programs (HS-LDPs): multidisciplinary honor societies or leadership development programs directly managed by a center at USG or by one of its partner institutions.

Biological Sciences Peer Mentorship Club

The Biological Sciences (BioSci) Peer Mentorship  Program aims to enhance the student experience  at USG by facilitating a smooth transition into the  BioSci program. We hope to make the Biological  Sciences Program a welcoming environment by  matching incoming juniors with seniors who will be  able to guide and mentor them. Black Student Nurses Association (BSNA)

The Black Student Nurses Association’s (BSNA) mission is to establish a safe space for African American/Black/African nursing students. The Association aims to provide support services to minority nursing students as they will face challenges in the nursing profession. BSNA aims to educate students by holding events to bring awareness to Black nurses' struggles in healthcare. This association provides community services through public health screenings in Black communities, mentorship, and leadership opportunities to student nurses. Diversities at Shady Grove

The mission of Diversities at Shady Grove is to bring students from all nine universities together. Although we are nine universities on one campus we don't tend to cross paths. The only students we communicate with daily are those in the same field of study as us. This means we go to the same University, we are in the same program of study, and we are in the same building. Our Organization slogan is "Nine Universities, four Buildings, Thousands of Unique Stories." This means we would like to interview different students/faculty/ and donors to hear their stories. The organization is open to any student with a valid USG ID number. Minority Leaders in Business

​The purpose of this club is to create an inclusive environment where minorities at Shady grove, particularly blacks and Hispanics/ Latino’s students, feel supported and connected to each other. The Smith school at shady grove campus comprise mainly juniors and seniors. Given that many students at Smith Shady grove are commuters, they are most likely to have a busy schedule and don't have time to take part in extracurricular activities. Our club will focus on providing valuable experience like networking opportunities within members of the club and collaborating clubs, awareness discussions, support groups, while participating in social events within a feasible time commitment of 1-2 meetings per month. Contact Us
