Program Overview

Towson University is pleased to offer a Master's of Education (M.Ed.) in Special Education at The Universities at Shady Grove (USG).  The Towson University / MCPS Higher Education Partnership - M.Ed. program is designed for all MCPS MSDE licensed professionals: (General Ed, Special Ed., ELD, Art, Music, PE, World Languages, Elective Specialist, etc.). Courses meet once per week in 8-week sessions in a hybrid format, which allows the students to take two classes per semester but only have one class at a time. Students are admitted in the fall of each year.
