Together, we make it happen. Established in 2000, The Universities at Shady Grove (USG) is built on the power of partnership — bringing select degree programs from nine public Maryland universities to one convenient campus in Rockville, MD.
Students apply directly to one of our nine partner universities that offer their desired major and select USG as their preferred campus location on the application. Through our partnerships, students receive a high-quality education from their chosen university, which provides both the professors and the curriculum. Upon completion of the program, students are awarded a degree by their chosen university.
