On-Site Access to University of Maryland, College Park (UMCP) Electronic Resources
Using the desktop computers in the Priddy Library
- Login using: your USG credentials or request a Guest Account at the Service Desk
- Access: most UMCP databases, e-journals, and some eBooks
- Use the WorldCat option in the Library Search box from the library's homepage
- If you know which journal or database you would like to use, you can go directly to the UMD Database Finder
Using WiFi on mobile devices
- Login to the secure USG network (USG) using: your USG credentials
- For help connecting to USG, use the instructions on OIT's Wireless Networks page
- Login to public guest network (USG-Visitor) using: public network login page
- Guest users must agree to the Guidelines for the Acceptable Use of Computing Resources
- If your laptop supports network over USB-C, you can also connect to one of our dual-monitor docking stations!
- Access: most UMD databases, e-journals, some eBooks, and AirMedia & the web printing portal (USG only)
On/Off-site Access to Non-UMCP Electronic Resources
- Use the "Find Articles" dropdown menu to select your home institution, click the logo for a Partner Library from the bottom of the Priddy Library Homepage, or following a link below:
- Utilize the search services or databases from your home institution library's site
- When prompted to login, use your home institution login credentials
Off-Site Access to UMCP Electronic Resources
- Use the Priddy Library website as you normally would
- Login with your UMD credentials when prompted
- Only users affiliated with the University of Maryland, College Park have access to UMCP electronic resources off-campus
