Build your own mentoring experience where you are, with what you need, when you need it through:
 

Traditional Mentoring

  • Meet with your mentor for at least three, one-hour sessions during the semester on professional and personal development.

Flash Mentoring

  • A one-hour session on either informational interviewing, mock interviews, general career consultation, or guidance on building your network.

Mentor Circles

  • Meet subject matter experts and hear them discuss career-ready topics in a seminar setting. Program lasts one-hour.

                                                 


Student Expectations:

  • Be open and honest with your communication.
  • Keep strict confidentiality. The relationship must be built on trust. If there are extenuating circumstances, please contact the Program Manager.
  • Be reliable. Keep up your end of the agreement and responsibilities.
  • Acknowledge and be sensitive of your mentor's time.
  • Follow through on what you agreed upon.
  • Be open and teachable. There is much information and knowledge that your mentor can provide but you must be open to what they are telling or showing you.
  • Be proactive in seeking help and arranging meetings.
  • Be respectful and trustworthy. Strong mentor-mentee relationships are built on trust.
