The 2015-2016 academic year marked the 15th anniversary of graduates from the partner institutions at The Universities at Shady Grove (USG). Since the start of USG in late 2000, the campus has seen tremendous growth and has helped thousands of students gain access to the best degree programs in the State of Maryland — all on one convenient, state-of-the-art campus.
In celebration of this milestone, two students from University of Maryland, College Park’s Communication program created a special video slideshow to show the evolution of USG as one of their class projects. This video, by Travis Hucek and Daniel Zevallos, was created using photos from the year 2000 to today and it’s amazing to see how much the campus has changed over the last 15 years.
SG’s campus is continuing to grow – in the fall of 2016, USG broke ground on its fourth academic building – the Biomedical Sciences and Engineering Education Facility. Learn more about the building and what it means for students, businesses and the community here.
