American Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Science Café (ASBMB)

ASBMB Undergraduate Affiliate Network is a national organization of university-based chapters dedicated to the advancement of undergraduate research, research based undergraduate education, and science outreach. Our main goal in the USG chapter is to promote science outreach by facilitating young adult science cafes that will allow interaction between young adults and experienced professionals from the STEM community. The speakers talk about how they got into their current field, what education they had, and what their current work is all about. We've had doctors, virologists, physicists, and chemists speak to Science Cafe attendees that range from elementary school children to college students, PhD's, and educators.  If you wish to join contact the current President at Asbmb.uan.usg@gmail.com.
