President and CEO of The Coleman Group, Belinda Coleman has over 30 years of experience in systems engineering, information technology, and program management. Her vision and 18 years of leadership experience in informatics and policy development have guided the strategic growth of The Coleman Group into a competitive forward-thinking business with a reputation for delivering quality and value. Under her leadership, The Coleman Group is providing information technology solutions and services in cybersecurity, health care informatics, procurement management solutions, software development solutions, and security services.

As an accomplished, well-recognized business owner, she has been invited to the White House and Capitol Hill in order to champion initiatives related to small business development and innovation. Ms. Coleman has appeared on Channel 8 News and numerous radio shows as an expert on entrepreneurship and the role of cybersecurity in addressing emerging threats to business and intellectual capital. She has also been featured in several newspapers and magazines including Black Enterprise Magazine and Washington Business Journal.

Ms. Coleman received her Bachelor of Science degree in both math and computer science from Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia. She earned a Master’s of Science degree in computer science at George Washington University in Washington, DC. In addition to serving on the Board of Advisors at the Universities at Shady Grove, Ms. Coleman is a member of the Board of Directors for University System of Maryland and of the Small Business AFCEA Bethesda Chapter. She also belongs to numerous industry advisory boards and organizations.
