The Implementation Council (IC) is comprised of management and directors from across departmental units at the Universities at Shady Grove (USG). The IC originated as a pilot in July 2022 and has been evolving as it finds its place among the existing two governing bodies (the Staff Advisory Committee and the Executive Council) in the USG organizational landscape which is also changing as USG makes progress on objectives, initiatives and growth in support of the USG 2.0 Strategic Plan.
