When it comes to questions that students at the Universities at Shady Grove (USG) may have about whether or not to get a COVID-19 vaccination, we thought there was no better place to turn for some perspective than from their fellow students at USG.
Three such voices are highlighted in this short video below: Govina Etwaroo (Towson University, Elementary/Special Education ‘21), Cristina Pereira (University of Baltimore, Simulation and Game Design ’21) and Canisha Pope (University of Maryland Eastern Shore, Hospitality and Tourism Management).
As USG prepares for a full reopening this fall, all students, faculty and staff who are on campus will be required to have a vaccination unless they are granted an exception for medical or religious reasons, per University System of Maryland guidelines.
