The Universities at Shady Grove (USG) Board of Advisors member Cliff Kendall, and his wife Camille, generously established three annual awards that recognize faculty and staff who have performed exceptionally in supporting student success at USG. The three Kendall Awards are: Excellence in Teaching, Program Director of the Year and Outstanding Service to Students.

The Kendall Awards were presented by, Bernadette Johnson-Williams, a member of the USG Board of Advisors and the Senior Regulatory Health Project Manager at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. Congratulations to the following Kendall Award Winners:

  •  Excellence in Teaching - Melissa Blair, UMBC History
  • Program Director of the Year - Ruth O'Rourke, UMES Hospitality and Tourism Management
  •  Outstanding Service to Students - Andrea Milo, USG Center for Student Engagement and Financial Resources (CSEF)
