A Founders Recognition Event was held Thursday, May 6 to Honor 14 Community Leaders as the Universities at Shady Grove Highlights a 10th Anniversary Celebration
The Universities at Shady Grove (USG) Board of Advisors presented its first Founders Vision Award to advertising and public relations legend Earle Palmer Brown on Thursday, May 6, 2010. Brown is one of 14 visionaries who was honored at a special “Founders Recognition Event” highlighting the Universities at Shady Grove’s 10th anniversary celebration.
Along with Brown, the following 13 community leaders were honored: Harley Cloud, Gene Counihan, Douglas Duncan, Gertrude Eaton, Bruce Hamilton, Patrick J. Hogan, Clifford Kendall, Nancy Kopp, Donald Langenberg, Charles Lyons, Charlene Nunley, Michael Subin, and Joseph Vivona.
