The Universities at Shady Grove (USG) is proud to announce that Dr. Stewart Edelstein, Associate Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, University System of Maryland and Executive Director at USG has been named one of the 25 CEOs You Need to Know by The Gazette of Politics and Business. This award honors Maryland business leaders, and recognizes them for the success of their companies or organizations and their charitable work in the community.

The 2011 Award Winners were chosen from companies and organizations of all sizes from around the state of Maryland, with 5 different counties being represented by the winning companies/organizations. This year’s list of 25 winners was selected from over 150 nominees.
The winners will be honored at a luncheon and awards presentation on May 5, 2011 at The Ballroom in Bethesda, Md and will be profiled in a special section of The Gazette of Politics and Business in on Friday, May 6, 2011.
