Thriving Workplace Teams

The 12 prototypes developed at the summit have been organized into three themes based on the content of the activity. These themes map to research about fundamental human needs in the workplace: Connectedness, Autonomy, and Mastery. To facilitate progress, there will be a work team for each of these areas.

Each of these teams will have three co-leaders. Two co-leaders have already been selected: one person from the Summit Planning Team, and one person from the Leadership Team. The third leader for each group will be selected from and by the members of each work team. This could be you!

The three co-leaders of each group, along with Dr. Edelstein, will form a Steering Committee (10 members total, 3 from each group, and Dr. Edelstein) to provide overall support and direction to the Thriving Workplace teams.

Initial tasks of the work teams include:

  1. Selecting a third co-leader
  2. Discussing and prioritizing prototypes
  3. Establishing an action timeline for each prototype
  4. Starting to bring the prototypes to life

Be on the lookout for an email inviting you to the first meeting of the work teams. Initial team membership is based on the items you indicated interest in working on at the summit. However, please feel free to join whatever team most excites you.
