2006 Student Achievement & Leadership Awards Breakfast
The Universities at Shady Grove will host the 2nd annual awards breakfast to honor the 2005-2006 recipients of the Academic Achievement and Leadership & Service awards on Friday, April 21st from 8:15am-10:00am in the Multi Purpose Room, Bldg II. We are delighted to announce our featured speaker will be Dr. William E. Kirwan, the Chancellor of the University System of Maryland.
This event is held to honor the academic, leadership and extra-curricular contributions of outstanding seniors in each of the daytime, undergraduate programs offered at USG. This event is limited to the award recipients, their families, and other invited guests.
Academic Achievement Awards
These awards are presented to one outstanding senior from each undergraduate program offered at USG who has demonstrated academic excellence and achievement. Winners are selected on the basis of grade point average, participation in internships and honor societies and contributions to their program of study.
