Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services, the Universities at Shady Grove and students from the University of Maryland, Baltimore's School of Nursing and Pharmacy are partnering to conduct a seasonal flu vaccine clinic for the public.
Montgomery County Health officials are urging residents to get their annual seasonal flu vaccination now as vaccination is the best way to protect against illness during flu season. H1N1 vaccinations will not be available at this public clinic.
The seasonal flu vaccine will be available on a first come, first served basis. The cost for the flu vaccination is $20 per person. Vaccines for children are free. Individuals with Medicare should bring their Medicare card. A parent or legal guardian must accompany children under the age of 18.
Students in the University of Maryland, Baltimore's School of Nursing and Pharmacy programs at the Universities at Shady Grove will be helping with the administration of the vaccines.
