Students in programs offered at the Universities at Shady Grove (USG) are strongly encouraged to participate this spring in our campus-wide career readiness initiative, Hire U.
The Hire U program is a joint effort USG created and launched with Montgomery County Public Schools and Montgomery College in order to better prepare students with the academic knowledge, career skills and real-world experiences needed to succeed post-graduation. Hire U aims to set students in Montgomery County on the right path toward gaining skills in nine key career competencies that are often highly valued by potential employers and critical to workplace success.
