The tenth annual Montgomery County Business Hall of Fame (MCBHOF) induction ceremony will be held at the Universities at Shady Grove (USG) on Tuesday, October 25, 2022. This prestigious event is a celebration of people who have made a positive impact on the Montgomery County business community. This year’s honorees include:
- Tim Chi, Co-founder of WeddingWire and CEO of The Knot Worlwide
- Bonnie Fogel, Founder, Imagination Stage
- Jeff Galvin, CEO and Founder, American Gene Technologies
- Haroon Mokhtarzada, Co-founder and CEO of Truebill (now Rocket Money)
The MCBHOF, co-founded by Grossberg Company LLP, and Sandy Spring Bank, has raised nearly $1.5 million for the USG General Scholarship Fund through the annual event and donations. Hundreds of students now in the Montgomery County workforce have benefitted from the MCBHOF’s efforts. Scholarship funds are needed more now than ever before due to pandemic-related issues.
