The eleventh annual Montgomery County Business Hall of Fame (MCBHOF) induction ceremony will be held at the Universities at Shady Grove (USG) on Tuesday, October 24, 2023. This prestigious event is a celebration of people who have made a positive impact on the Montgomery County business community. This year’s honorees include:
- Jillian Copeland, Founder of Main Street Connect
- Joseph Craig English, Artist & Printmaker
- David Trone, Co-founder of Total Wine & More
- S. Tien Wong, CEO of Opus8, Inc.
The MCBHOF, co-founded by Grossberg Company LLP, and Sandy Spring Bank, has raised nearly $1.6 million for the USG General Scholarship Fund through the annual event and donations. Hundreds of students now in the Montgomery County workforce have benefitted from the MCBHOF’s efforts. Scholarship funds are needed more now than ever before due to pandemic-related issues.
