BENEFITING NIH CHILDREN’S CHARITIES
The Comcast Outdoor Film Festival celebrates its fifteenth anniversary August 4-8, 2011, with five nights of hit movies that include a mix of box office hits, classics, family favorites. This annual summer favorite is again being held on the grounds of the Universities at Shady Grove. As in the past, admission is free, and a portion of proceeds from food and beverage sales will benefit the Comcast Outdoor Film Festival National Institutes of Health (NIH) Children’s Charities. Bring a blanket and enjoy the show!
The 2011 Comcast Outdoor Film Festival lineup includes:

Friday, August 5 ~ Tangled ~ 100 minutes ~ PG
Saturday, August 6~ Up! ~ 96 minutes ~ PG
Sunday, August 7 ~ Toy Story 3 ~ 103 minutes ~ G
Monday, August 8 ~ Top Gun ~ 110 minutes ~ PG
The festival features an inflatable four-story screen, one of the two largest in the United States, and state of the art projection with Dolby Digital® Surround Sound. Festival patrons are encouraged to come early to enjoy a variety of foods from local restaurants and family activities provided by the festival sponsors. A portion of the proceeds will go towards NIH Children’s Charities: Children’s Inn, Camp Fantastic/Special Love and Friends of the Clinical Center. Moviegoers are encouraged to bring blankets or low beach chairs.

The Comcast Outdoor Film Festival provides accommodations for people with disabilities. Wheelchair Access and Escort Service, seating area and restroom will be provided. Assisted Listening Devices of various types are provided at the projection booth and are available on request. Audio Descriptors for the blind are available with ten days notice by calling 301-496-6061.
