Two recipients of scholarships funded by AFCEA Bethesda were among 25 undergraduate students to receive awards for outstanding academic achievement at the seventh annual USG Student Achievement and Leadership Breakfast held Friday, April 15th, 2011 at USG.
Aula Soroush, graduating with a Bachelor’s of Science in Simulation and Digital Entertainment from the University of Baltimore and Waveney Sewlall, graduating with a Bachelor’s of Science in Health Systems Management from the University of Baltimore are AFCEA scholarship recipients and 2011 Student Achievement and Leadership awardees. Students recieved scholarships for the Fall 2010 and Spring 2011 semesters.
The Bethesda Chapter of the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA Bethesda) has committed $120,000 to fund scholarships for students enrolled in degree programs at The Universities at Shady Grove (USG) in the areas of science, engineering, bitotechnology, computer science and other technology disciplines.
