The Universities at Shady Grove (USG) Board of Advisors member Cliff Kendall, and his wife Camille, generously established three annual awards that recognize faculty and staff who have performed exceptionally in supporting student success at USG. The three Kendall Awards are: Excellence in Teaching, Program Director of the Year and Outstanding Service to Students.
The Kendall Awards were presented by, Ms. Elizabeth Thomson, a member of the USG Board of Advisors and a project manager at Northrop Grumman. Congratulations to the following Kendall Award Winners:
- Excellence in Teaching - David Sandstrom, University of Maryland, College Park Biological Sciences
- Program Director of the Year - Diane Alonso, UMBC Psychology
- Outstanding Service to Students - Eileen Harrington, Assistant Director Health and Life Science Librarian
