2010 Contemporary Social Issues Seminar Series

All seminars will be presented in an interactive format to stimulate an exchange of ideas among practitioners, researchers, policymakers, students, and the public at large. Social scientists and researchers at the forefront of their study areas will be on hand to present fact-driven, research based findings and implications. This series is open to the public and all are welcome to hear the panels of presenters and engage in a conversation about the present circumstances of and what the future holds for these important social issues.
The topics and issues selected for this series were chosen for their relevance and importance to our students, faculty and staff.   For students, it is an opportunity to enrich the classroom experience by learning and engaging with experts in the field.
