USG is sponsoring and hosting the Ocean Bowl Games e-gaming and e-sports event held by STEAM Your Dreams, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving literacy for children from disadvantaged and low-economic communities. Nearly 150 students aged eight to 14, along with volunteers and chaperones, will be in the Biomedical Sciences and Engineering Building (BSE) enjoying activities related to science, technology, engineering, arts, and math. The goal of the event is to highlight the importance of STEM education, to include the arts, while also giving students the chance to showcase their skills, creativity, and teamwork in a more competitive, game-like environment. These activities will occur on the Ground, 1st and 2nd floors, as well as the main atrium. There will be a DJ playing music and making announcements and exhibitors in the atrium.
