How Social Work Interprets and Implements Environmental Justice in Practice

Clinical Instructor Jeanette Hoover with the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) Social Work program explores the ways in which environmental justice intersects with practices in the field of social work. This event may be of particular interest to students in academic programs related to Public Service, Education, & Social Sciences.

This event is one in a series taking place during the week of April 13-19 as the USG community participates in the Maryland Climate Teach-in. The Climate Teach-In is an annual week of events to promote climate change education and to empower people to take action. We welcome all students, faculty, staff and community members to participate.
