USG Tribute to Dr. Freeman A. Hrabowski, III
On Monday, March 7, 2022, from 4-7 p.m. the USG community paid tribute to Dr. Freeman A. Hrabowski, III, longtime President of UMBC, who will be retiring at the end of the 2022 academic year. A nationally renowned university leader, Dr. Hrabowski headed UMBC for more than 30 years and has been a great champion for students, including those at the Universities at Shady Grove (USG) and throughout Montgomery County.
A copy of our program with the speaker lineup can be found here, as well as a recording of the event below. Photos from the event have been posted to USG's Flickr page.

Dr. Hrabowski has touched the lives of thousands of UMBC students during his three decades of extraordinary leadership at UMBC. To honor his commitment to our students, the UMBC Foundation has established the Freeman A. Hrabowski, III Endowment for Student Excellence, a signature program that will increase access and affordability for undergraduate students with financial need and a commitment to community service.
