Employment is a section that highlights all currently available positions for full-time and part-time professionals. Each listing below provides pertinent job information including duties, required qualifications and information on how to apply.

Regular student employment gives students the opportunity to obtain quality on the job experience and skills in a variety of different areas at the center, as well as earning extra pay.  Starting August 1, 2019, USG Student Employment opportunities will be managed by the Career and Internship Services Center.  Students and employers should visit Career Connector for more information.

There are multiple ways in which Shady Grove students can discover student employment opportunities at USG:

2. Check the USG Weekly.

Federal Work-Study (FWS) is a federally subsidized student employment program for students who demonstrate financial need. Students may earn an FWS award by working with an approved FWS employer. The program provides qualified students with valuable employment opportunities while enabling them to earn money for educational and living expenses. For more information on FWS opportunities, please contact Gloria Kalotra, Assistant Director, Center for Student Engagement and Financial Resources.
