Program Overview
Are you interested in developing an entrepreneurial mindset? Or perhaps learning about designing thinking and how it helps to solve problems? Or, maybe you have the next big idea and need knowledge on how to commercialize your new and innovative ideas. If this is you, Bowie State University (BSU) is now offering courses at the Universities at Shady Grove (USG) campus in Rockville, MD that will help you bring your dreams to fruition.
The Entrepreneurship Certificate is not a a degree, it is a continuing education program designed for both undergraduate and graduate-level students. Our faculty are prestigiously trained and certified at Babson, Stanford, Eckerd, and ELI in the entrepreneurship mindset, design thinking and the like, and have developed and incorporated these pedagogies into the certificate courses offered. Additionally, students enrolled in the program gain real world perspectives from industry partners with diverse backgrounds in entrepreneurship, business, marketing, finance, leadership and small business ventures. How to Apply
Undergraduate and graduate-level students are eligible to apply. To submit an application students should complete BSU's Non-Degree Application on the Office of Continuing Education and External Program website. The Office of Continuing Education and External Program will process your application and register you into your classes. You must complete an application form for every semester you plan to enroll for classes.
