The University of Maryland College Park offers the B.S. degree in Public Health Science at the Universities at Shady Grove.
The Public Health Science degree is a science-based program which prepares students to work in the field of public health at the local, state, national, and international levels in all aspects of disease prevention, health promotion, environmental protection, emergency preparedness, and wellness, as well as a host of other public health related areas.
The Public Health Science Program is a two year program at Shady Grove. A basic foundation in public health and health behavior, including biology, chemistry, microbiology, and anatomy and physiology are requirements for participation in the program. For more information, visit the program website.
