Vice President of Human Resources Operations

Paul Tchorni is currently the Vice President of Human Resources Operations for the Americas and is a key member of the Americas HR team and the Company’s global senior HR team. In this role he partners with the Corporate HR Centers of Expertise and the CHRO-Americas to develop policy and actions that are responsive to business needs and consistent with the Company’s overall HR strategy. Paul is also the Senior HR Business partner for the Americas leadership team supporting over 6,000 associates in Corporate and shared service locations. He also leads the Associate Relations COE and the Workforce Innovation initiative for the Americas.
Prior to this role, Paul held the positions of Vice President of Talent Management and Regional Vice President of Human Resources for the Eastern Region of The Americas. He has also held several other regional positions including Regional Senior Director of Human Resources and Regional Director of Human Resources for the Mid-Atlantic Region. Prior to joining the regional team, Paul was Director of Human Resources for the Washington Dulles Airport Marriott and Washington Dulles Suites. He also served as the Lead Director of Human Resources for the Northern Virginia Market.
Paul began his career with Marriott in 1983 and has held a variety of positions in Loss Prevention and Human Resources over the last 36 years. He is a graduate of the Executive MBA program at the University of Maryland University College.
