Victor C. Mullins

Senior Associate Dean, Diversity and Inclusion Dr. Victor Mullins
NYU Stern School of Business

As an accomplished leader and educator in higher education administration, Dr. Mullins brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the field. Holding a Doctor of Philosophy and a Master of Arts in Higher Education Administration from New York University, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communication from George Mason University, he is deeply committed to fostering inclusive environments and advancing diversity and equity in academia.

Currently serving as the Senior Associate Dean for Diversity and Inclusion at New York University's Leonard N. Stern School of Business, he provides strategic leadership in shaping the institution's values of inclusion, diversity, belonging, and equity (IDBE). In this role, he oversees initiatives aimed at creating a supportive campus climate for underrepresented students and enhancing the overall student experience. He collaborates closely with faculty to promote inclusive classrooms and diverse learning environments, ensuring that all members of the Stern School community feel valued and respected.

Prior to his tenure at NYU, he served as the Associate Dean at the University of Maryland's Robert H. Smith School of Business, where he led efforts to spearhead diversity and inclusion initiatives. His responsibilities included managing admissions strategies, retention programs, academic advising, and career services. He also worked closely with campus partners to cultivate a strong sense of community within the university.

Dr. Mullins was selected as the Business Enterprise Hub for his pioneering approach to shaping a more inclusive and accessible higher education experience.
