The B.S. in Information Science offers a curriculum that uniquely combines technical skills such as database design, information architecture, web and mobile development, and data analytics with the social sciences, leadership, design, and the humanities. They also learn to design solutions, create systems, and lead teams that bring together information, technology, and people to meet critical individual, organizational, and societal needs. In addition to earning the B.S. from the University of Maryland, the program offers high-quality and hands-on experiential opportunities that prepare graduates for careers in technology, data analytics, design and leadership, and more. The B.S. in Information Science is offered through the University’s College of Information (INFO).
