The ninth annual Montgomery County Business Hall of Fame (MCBHOF) induction ceremony will be held at the Universities at Shady Grove (USG) on Tuesday, October 26, 2021. This prestigious event is a celebration of people who have made a positive impact on the Montgomery County business community. This year’s honorees include:

  • Jay Sunny Bajaj, Chairman, CEO and Founder, Digital Management, LLC
  • Marilyn Balcombe, President and CEO, Gaithersburg-Germantown Chamber of Commerce
  • Gordon R. Barnaby, President and CEO, BarnAllen Technologies, Inc.
  • Chef Ype Von Hengst, Co-Founder and Executive Chef, Silver Diner and Silver New American Brasserie

The MCBHOF, co-founded by Grossberg Company LLP, and Sandy Spring Bank, has raised over $1.3 million for the USG General Scholarship Fund through the annual event and donations. Hundreds of students now in the Montgomery County workforce have benefitted from the MCBHOF’s efforts. Scholarship funds are needed more now than ever before due to pandemic-related issues. Please help further educational access and opportunity now by becoming an event sponsor, purchasing tickets, or making a tax deductible donation to the Montgomery County Business Hall of Fame below.

All net proceeds from the MCBHOF benefit the scholarship programs at USG.
