Bowie State University

• Bowie State University offers an array of scholarships – each with its own set criteria for consideration. Please note that all students must complete the  FAFSA to be considered for any type of financial aid.

Salisbury University

• Deadline dates for scholarship will vary, check the website for details. You are required to complete a new general application every year!
• Email Salisbury your questions at finaid@salisbury.edu or call us at 410-543-6165. Phone hours are open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily.

Towson University

• Deadlines, eligibility requirements and application processes vary widely between programs.  Carefully review the deadlines and requirements for each scholarship. Some scholarships, including some Maryland Higher Education Commission (MHEC) scholarships require applicants to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid FAFSA.

University of Baltimore

• Univerisity of Baltimore offers two categories of scholarships: merit and need. The first type is awarded entirely on the basis of merit, the other on financial need as well as merit. Private scholarships are also available from other sources.

University of Maryland, Baltimore

• A number of scholarships are offered to students who demonstrate a strong ability to succeed through their academic achievements, community leadership, and service.

UMBC

• UMBC offers merit scholarships to incoming UMBC students. Additional scholarship opportunities for incoming and current students may be found in Scholarship Retriever.

University of Maryland, College Park

• Departmental scholarships are awarded by academic departments across campus.

University of Maryland Eastern Shore

• The key to applying for a variety of scholarships is to apply early! You should begin to inquire about scholarship applications for a fall semester (September) as early as January-March.
• For many scholarships, funds are limited and may only be awarded on a first-come/first-served basis.
• If you are beginning in the Spring semester, scholarship opportunities will be very limited as most scholarships are awarded for a full academic year.

University of Maryland Global Campus

• University of Maryland Global Campus offers a variety of scholarship opportunities. Through our donor scholarship process, you may be able to earn one or more of our 100+ scholarships. 
• The Free Application for Federal Student Aid, known as the FAFSA, is required for most scholarships offered by UMGC. Make sure you complete the FAFSA early.
