Solar Panels

In 2019, USG partnered with the Maryland Energy Administration to install solar panel systems on campus.  Full solar panel systems are installed on the Traville Garage, the BSE, and Building 1 and new panels have been added to the existing array on the Shady Grove Garage. Combined, these solar panels are expected to produce 1,035 MWh of electrical power every year — enough energy to power 99 average-sized homes! For more information, click below.
