We are gathering feedback from regional professionals in the IT industry to determine priorities for our new pathway program, Talent Ready.

The Talent Ready program was developed by Montgomery County Public Schools, Montgomery College, and the Universities at Shady Grove, in collaboration with The Greater Washington Partnership, to increase baccalaureate degree attainment and professional success for students who have been historically underrepresented in IT academic programs and careers. Talent Ready was created to encourage regional students to explore and persist in IT career pathways and to be ready with the 21st century work readiness skills.

To prepare students with the skills, certifications and credentials regional organizations need for their emerging workforce, we need your help. Please help guide our programming with your input.

Examples of certifications include: CISCO® Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA), and Oracle Certified Associate.
For example, participating in a panel discussion, hosting a career immersion at your organization, hosting a student for job shadowing, or hiring a student for a microinternship.
