Dear Graduate,
On behalf of the Universities at Shady Grove (USG), we are writing to extend our sincere congratulations on your recent graduation and completion of your college degree from one of our USM partner institutions You have reached an incredible milestone in your life, and the entire USG community is proud of the tremendous accomplishments of the Class of 2024. As you begin your transition into the many exciting opportunities that lay before you, we want to remind you that USG’s Career and Internship Services Center (CISC) is here to provide continued support. We provide a variety of services for recent graduates to help in the areas of graduate/professional school exploration, job searching, and gap year planning. These services include the following:
Career Connector Jobs Database: Recent graduates have access to our virtual “Career Connector” jobs database which contains internship, part-time employment, and full-time professional employment opportunities targeted for students and recent graduates in our region. Career Coaching: USG’s CISC provides daily 30 minute virtual coaching sessions with certified Career Coaches. These sessions provide personalized support for career planning, career exploration, resume writing, job searching, interview preparation, and career transition. Coaching sessions may be scheduled online by logging into USG’s Career Connector, click here.
Virtual Tools: Recent graduates have access to a variety of customized virtual tools including “Focus 2 " and “Big Interview” which can aid you in your career planning and job search.
