Student Engagement Beyond the Traditional Internship
USG seeks meaningful, quality experiences which enable students to participate in career exploration or gain "hands-on", practical, professional experience. Our Employer Toolkit lays out a variety of ways that employers can engage with students - beyond the traditional internship. Flexible methods to engage students can help market your company and build a pipeline of candidates for your business.
USG’s Career & Internship Services Center offers weekly opportunities for regional employers to build their brand on campus. Engage undergraduate and graduate students from a wide variety of academic programs in conversation and market available employment opportunities. Employers are invited to host an "Employer Handshake" table as a means of sharing information, meeting potential student applicants, and building your brand among the vibrant USG student community. Employers may recruit students for internships, part-time employment, full-time employment, and even volunteer opportunities.
