ABOUT THE PUBLIC HEALTH SCIENCE PROGRAM

Students will spend their junior and senior years in the Public Health Science (PHSC) program at Shady Grove. The PHSC program includes a strong curriculum in science and public health courses, such as biostatistics, epidemiology, environmental health, and global health. Students will have the opportunity for individual exploration in public health through electives, laboratory experiences, optional internships, and a culminating interdisciplinary capstone course. This degree will enable students entering the public health field to address the growing health challenges facing global communities today.
