USG Logon ID Services
Access to USG technology resources requires a valid and active USG Logon ID. To administer your USG Logon ID, you can visit https://shadygrove.umd.edu/passwordreset.
The Office of Information Technology has made available the wireless network, EDUROAM, on the first floor of the Shady Grove Garage. Visit the USG Wireless Network page to find out more about the wireless network and how to get connected.
Extended Laptop Loan Service
The Office of Information Technology has offered a special extended laptop loan service for current USG students. To request a special loaner laptop, please visit USG Emergency Assistance Request - COVID and complete the form. Please note that while we try our best to accommodate every student's needs, our loaner laptop pool is limited. Students will be provided the laptop on a first-come-first-served basis.
Note: We currently offer the extended loaner laptop service through the Summer 2021 semester. At this time, the service will not be offered for the Fall 2021 semester.
