"Stuck on the Moon"

"Assess Yourself"

Students will be given a link in advance to take the Myers Briggs and Strom assessments tests. During this session students will learn what their results mean and how they are impacting their leadership style as well as how to interact with other personality styles in the workplace.

"Navigating the Workplace: The Diversity Challenge"

Students will learn how to interact with various cultural challenges in the workplace. What is considered PC and appropriate behavior? Students will find out during in interactive scenario role playing activity to broaden their minds and to learn to be a better leader at work and at home.

"What Would You Do? Decision Making in the Workplace"

Students will find out how leaders make decisions and hard choices in the workplace. Tools will be learned on how to prioritize tasks that are the most important and how to balance conflict. They will take part in a "life circle" exercise to breakdown their own priorities as well as understand why choices are made.

Students are asked to pre register in advance by signing up at the front counter of Student Services in SG 3 or from the USG Career Connector. All participants will be provided a light breakfast, lunch, giveaway, and a certificate of participation at the end of the day. For more information please contact mresop@umd.edu.
