CAS - Guided Study Sessions (GSS)
What are GSS's?
Guided Study Sessions:
- Are small study groups formed for difficult courses.
- Are led by a student/peer who has received training and has taken the course before and/or has an advanced knowledge of the material.
- Teach you basic study skills along with new material. You not only learn the material, but learn skills you can take with you into other courses.
- Takes a proactive approach. By starting off the semester in GSS, you can more easily stay on top of the course material and requirements, rather than waiting until challenges come up or you get behind and then seeking help.
