The Universities at Shady Grove (USG) and the Rockville Institute come together annually to offer this dynamic, interactive seminar series. The series stimulates an exchange of ideas among practitioners, researchers, policymakers, students, and the public at large about contemporary social issues. Seminars are free and open to the public.

Interactive Format

Social scientists and researchers at the forefront of their study areas will present fact-driven, research-based findings and implications on relevant and important issues and ideas. Attendees are encouraged to engage in the discussion about the present circumstances and what the future holds for these important social issues.
