Green Lecture Series Kicks off with Panel on Electric Vehicles
On October 13, the Green Lecture Series started off with a bang as a panel of experts on electric vehicles visited USG. Jill Sorensen of the Baltimore Electric Vehicle Initiative, David Nguyen of Volta Grand Prix, William Clarke, President of the Osprey Foundation and Jo Reyes of the DC Electric Vehicle Association were our presenters.
Faculty, staff and students heard from the experts about this exciting and innovative technology and then had a great time actually test driving the vehicles. Attendees took turns trying out the electric bike, watching the electric kart zoom, and even got rides in the famous Tesla roadster. Our thanks to the presenters for sharing their knowledge, time and passion with us this week.
