Scholarships

In addition to federal and state grants awarded on the basis of financial need, various private scholarships are available for undergraduate students enrolled in programs at USG. These scholarships are created with contributions from private donors including the USG Board of Advisors, local businesses, foundations, community organizations and individual donors.  Click here for list of awards.

* NEW Scholarship- USG Internship Scholarship fund*

USG is pleased to announce a new Internship Scholarship Fund through which qualifying students can receive scholarship support for participation in unpaid, meaningful internship opportunities. This new program is intended to ease the financial obstacles faced by students seeking to gain practical experience in their chosen career field. This program is open to any undergraduate student at USG who demonstrates some type of financial need. Qualifying internship placements include those with a nonprofit organization, government agency, or regional small business.

Students are encouraged to apply now for the fall semester. Applications will be accepted and reviewed on a rolling basis. For more information or to apply, please email gkalotra@umd.edu.
