About the Program

Welcome to the Biological Sciences Program offered by the University of Maryland, College Park at the Universities at Shady Grove (USG).  Students can streamline their transfer from a community college or a four-year institution to the University of Maryland, College Park while staying in Montgomery County.  Our 2 year transfer program in Biological Sciences focuses on physiology and neurobiology.  Students who wish to exit the program with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree may go onto to graduate or professional school such as: medical, dental and pharmacy school.  Others go into allied health professions such as Physician Assistant, Physical Therapy and Public Health.  For more information about the Biological Sciences Program:  Click here.
