Position Title Business Office Assistant

Hourly Wage: $9.00
Approximate Number of Hours Required to Work Per Week: 15-20

(Note: Students may work up to 20 hours per week while classes are in session.)
Days and Hours Student Needed to Work: To be determined by the needs of the Business Office.
Job Description:

This position will assist the business office in the daily financial, human resource and administrative duties at the Universities at Shady Grove. The successful applicant will process accounts receivables and payables on a daily basis, gaining an intimate knowledge of the College Park ARES system which includes ELF, FRS, and BPM. There will be weekly, monthly, and quarterly deadlines that must be adhered to in order to have the office function accordingly with the College Park rules and regulations. This position will work closely with the staff of the Department of Administration and Finance.

Qualifications: General accounting knowledge preferrably 20 to 30 credit houtrs in finance or accounting.
